Session – 1: Introduction
Question 1: Can you introduce yourselves, and describe what the ikonic moment project is, How did you start?
Answer:
Of course. I’ll just briefly introduce myself and the team: I’m Sebastian, the CEO of IKONIC. Over 2 years as CEO for a Crypto exchange, 2 years CEO for a Blockchain Enterprise Solution provider, one of the initiators of an NFT native platforms launched in early 2019 and for the past 7 months with IKONIC, just to cover the Crypto experience.
Our multicultural team comprise of experts in Technology, Product, Marketing, Project Management, Crypto, Blockchain, VC and Esports.
IKONIC is a dedicated NFT Marketplace for esports. Collectibles are a 100+ years old concept, but very new for esports and it makes more sense in a video format, rather than static. If is to compare with the traditional sports where the focus is on an individual athlete or team, in esports the focus is on the moments. Collectibles for esports that create additional perpetual revenue stream. through royalties system embedded in the Smart Contract, create real value for outstanding moments. The idea originated early 2021 and it was inspired, in a way, by NBA TopShot. Video NFTs are the way of promoting absolutely outstanding moments and collections out of them.
Question 2: We would like to know more about the concept and how it works?
I think this requires a 2 fold answer: I already described in the previous answer what we are trying to achieve. When it comes to how, this is where the challenge was and we managed to create a really outstanding platform, which thrives to be user friendly. Creating moments is what every esports player and gamers are doing every time they play a game or participate in the tournament. One of a kind moments worth being saved, shared and showcased. When these moments happen and they are stored on different platforms (either is XBOX, PC, Playstation, mobile or any other existing platform), the next steps for the creator are to upload those moments, mint them as NFTs and place them on the marketplace. It is as simple as that. Once this happened, the fans/collectors can buy/trade them, showcase in their trophy room and this is a complete cycle between creating the moment and them being part of the legacy.
Question 3: What are you plans in the near and in the distant future?
It’s all about planning, right? 😊 Immediate plans include finishing the testing cycle our platform along with all the features that we managed to develop so far. It will be available at launch on multiple chains, which will allow users to choose what suit them best, cost-wise and more. The UI/UX was our focus from the beginning and I can say we did a really great job. Very soon we will launch a demo video from our actual platform, so everyone can see what we managed to create so far! The next step would be, of course, the TGE/IDO. We are already finalising the details and we will make an official announcement soon. But, what I can tell you is that you will not have to wait too long for that moment! As for medium and long term plans, they include gamification of the platform, which means that IKONIC is going to be more than just an NFT Marketplace, it will be a place where people will have a lot of tasks to fullfil, which, of course, will be rewarded, games and other activities related to it, that will make the the experience enjoyable and entertaining, as well as challenging and rewarding. Metaverse is a word that we hear more and more currently and it is something we are exploring as well. More details to come, of course.
Question 4: Can you explain more in detail about your tokens & it’s benefits?
Yes, of course. $IKONIC token is also one of our priorities and we are still working on finalising the initial structure. One preliminary thing that I can say about $IKONIC token is that is not for speculators. We created the Tokenomics based on long-term investment that will be released gradually to all the investors, regardless of the round they invested (seed, private or public). Our plans are to increase not only the range of products and features for IKONIC, but also to continuously increase the utility range for our token. As initial targets the following:
Staking rewards
- Discounts/bonuses
- Creator Pools
- Bonus APY from generated sales on IKONIC Platform. The benefit for holding the $IKONIC token is a work in progress. Gamification of the platform and even the Metaverse (when it will be launched), will expand exponentially the utility and intrinsec value of $IKONIC. A token is and should be directly correlated with the value of the Project. It is the only healthy way to move forward.
Question 5: Can you elaborate more on services & your products? What competitive advantages do you have?
Creating, buying, selling the NFTs are the first set of services available at launch, on the IKONIC Marketplace which, as I mentioned, it is going to be user-friendly and will create a very pleasant experience throughout the process. We are the first dedicated NFT Marketplace for esports and that, itself, is a competitive advantage. We are planning the gamification of the platform, Indie Game Incubator, Gaming as a service, just to name a few products and services we have in our roadmap. Metaverse is also in our future plans and it will open an entire range of products and services itself. Just to summarise, IKONIC starts as a dedicated NFT Marketplace for esports, but we will always add new features on the platform and for the project along the way and the community will have a very important saying in the direction we will take. The project is for the community! We are building the foundation, but the community will contribute enormously on our future plans. If you want to make a great game, listen to the gamers you are offering it. It is the same for us: we want a platform built according to what our users want to see, experience, benefit.

Does IKONIC have any plans of private sale or presale? When will you perform it? How can I participate in these rounds? What are requirements of these events?
IKONIC had already the Seed and the Private rounds in Q3 and Q4 2022. There is a discussion about opening an additional private round and we will make the details public, when it’s the case. The minimum to access the the previous rounds was 500 USDT, but it is case by case situation. However, in the Public round, at launch, there are no restrictions in terms of minimum amount. You can join our channel and we can give you more details at the right time.

Many projects are claiming themselves as Community Driven. The community connection projects have, mostly change drastically after their token launch. Is your project really community driven? How important is the wishes and feedbacks of the community for you?
Thank you for the question. Yes, it is absolutely true that a lot of the projects make this claim. In most cases is to get money from the community. The fact that the Seed and Private round were closed rounds, not open for the wide majority, is because we are looking to provide for the community, instead of asking their financial help. Yes, our project is really community driven, because our core idea is dependent on the community’s involvement (creators, fans, buyers/sellers). Furthermore, we have in plan of adding gamification elements that, beside the original launch of it, will be driven by the community feedback. We will also reward the community for helping us keep a clear platform, with valuable NFTs (flagging inappropriate content, violations of the engagement rules, etc.). To conclude: the wishes and feedback of the community will drive future developments, features that we will implement according to our vision and mission.

From Your Roadmap , I Saw that In Q1 2022 , You have Planned to Launch the. “IKONIC
Collection Pack Drop 1.0 w/ one-of-a-kind Esports Moments & Stars” , Can You please tell me More about the PACK DROP and What Will be Its Core benefits?
The Roadmap will be soon updated, so the launch of the IKONIC Collection will happen next quarter (Q2 2022). We are still working on the details, so once we have ironed out everything, we will make a public announcement regarding the pack drop. We have a lot of ongoing discussions so, I would love to share more details, but it is still too early and, furthermore, I don’t want to spoil the surprise. Please join our channel for more info.

Question: Smart contracts are prone to failure and many projects fall victim to this, costing users money and the project discrediting. How reliable and secure is your smart contract? Have you audit it through any of the parties?
That is absolutely true and in order to make sure this doesn’t happen to us we already had our initial SC audited by Hacken and we are also having additional changes that will be audited as well. We don’t take lightly the security aspects in general, especially of our SC, that are the backbone of our project!

Our Seed and first private round was closed in record time. We don’t have issues when it comes to that. In terms of experience, that is not an issue. Our CTO and Head of Product have each over 20 years experience in the field, just to give an example. Strengths I would say: awesome idea, team, platform, future development plans. As weakness, at this moment, I would say we need to grow a bigger community, but this will happen organically, once we evangelize our project to more communities, just like yours. Our Marketing team is very strong and we have a lot of plans that just need more time to be implemented.
Question 3: Do the token holders have the right to participate in the governance of the project? What kind of decisions can they vote on about the project?
We are planning to introduce a governance model, but it is not in our immediate plans and it is still under consideration.
